Me and my helpful assistants in my Sparkly Art Factory!@#@!
I create inspirational, sparkly, layered, embellished Art. I am a Fine Art Photographer, with a Graphic Design and Art Direction background spanning 30 plus years. Like my art, I am well behaved and get along well with others (report cards available upon request :). I vividly remember from the young age of four, setting out to make the world a better place by painting a mural on the backs of stinkbugs, I know, weird, huh? I couldn't wait to set them free to go show their friends and families. I’ve continued with that exact same mindset, just doin' my best to make this world a bit more fancy, one piece of Art at a time that I can't wait to show you !
A fateful day occurred about 15 years ago when my bracelet fell on to one of my pieces of art, and the idea to add sparkles to my images was born! Adding a one-of- a- kind embellishment to each and every one of my images has set my Art apart.
I have endless, bottomless, creative energy and will not ever stop creating unless I get swallowed by a whale, although even then it’s doubtful, as I’m sure I could come up with some one-of-a- kind mixed media images!
With my profession taking me from Art Directing/ Graphic Designing for the Music Industry in Los Angeles to Seattle where I photographed and created Art for The Seattle Street of Dreams, Chateau Ste.Michelle and The Seattle Seahawks families to now, somewhere in the middle of Montana, where my subject matter has expanded even more, surrounded with every kind of wildlife and neighboring animals that you can imagine! One new subject in particular, is this humble, sorrowful looking donkey. We became the best of friends immediately. I often decorate him with all things sparkly and photograph him. He has become my muse and branding image! From crowns to cupcakes, goldfish to donkeys and anything and everything that speaks to my heart, my desire is that through my Art you will be encouraged, inspired and know that you too are a one-of-a-kind masterpiece!

When I first moved to Montana, I would send pictures to my friends showing them all my new friends that I had made thus far (mostly horses and a new best friend, the donkey) ...my hoity toity Seattle friends, used to seeing me photograph crowns and other fancy things, said "Hey, let's see you put a crown on that donkey!" Challenge accepted! BAM! Now that donkey is my marketing & branding image!
