We are surrounded by nature, here in Montana. Most of these images have been taken right off our deck or the gravel road leading to our house! All of the bird images are also taken right out our windows! I put out all kinds of props outside (and birdseed!!) and wait to see who shows up!!!!

This is my first time featuring this amazing Highland Cattle breed..I think this breed is my all time favorite..we share something in common, the messy fur look :) I met him in Nashville as well and it was love at first sight!

Just the other morning I was reminded of God's goodness and faithfulness in my life. Reminiscing on the phone with my dear friend, Susan Hawkinson in Seattle, deep in conversation of new beginnings, some tears were shed, and just at the perfect time, a little birdie landed right outside my window.. it looked quite ordinary at first glance, but because of his timing, I wanted to document this special moment with a photograph. I grabbed my camera as we were chatting away, and through my telephoto lens, I discovered this was no ordinary little bird. It was clothed in beauty, peach and yellow feathers, (Susan reminded me that yellow was a sign of friendship:) and if that wasn't enough, it was topped off with what appeared to be a crown...now I tell you, isn't God good? Reminding me, once again to look a little closer at what appears to be ordinary. Well of course, I had to turn this precious little friend into a newly blinged up art piece.
