It seems everywhere I turn, there is something "Art Worthy", I just can't stop clicking away! Whether we're on one of our many road trips or just sitting on our deck you'll find me with my sidekick, my camera and my giant telephoto lens!!!

H22 PONY "ONCE IN AWHILE"

Brad and I were driving to our friend's house after we had just spent the last couple of days manual laboring, hired to help our friend flip his house..We were so exhausted and feeling a tad bit sorry for ourselves that we were too old to be having to physically work this hard. Driving while pouting, and trying not to grumble too much, when what did we see? Two little girls (we think they were angel fairy's now that we talk about it) holding their little hands up to halt our car...(their Grandpa was smiling at the side of the road)...When we stopped the car they ran to each of our windows and had us smell the little wild flowers they had just collected by the side of the road...giggling and overjoyed by their amazing bountiful collection of tiny, sweet smelling treasures, they couldn't wait to share their experience with two complete strangers (who happen to love children more than air:). Then, just as quickly as they appeared, they disappeared skipping down the road with their Grandpa.  What just happened? Our grumpiness vanished as we kept talking about this experience...and that was just the beginning of what God had in store for us this seemingly ordinary day. We passed this pony along the way and I had Brad make a quick u turn!.. and THEN two adorable sheep out of nowhere were trotting down the road right at us, and THEN we passed colts frolicking in the next pasture, who, once we stopped acted like they were trying to escape their fence, just to be with us ..THEN a beautiful crane spreading her glorious wings for us to see all her splendor.. and THEN right by the house a beautiful young buck and our friend's doggie welcoming us back...It's as if they were saying..."There you are, we've been waiting for you." (see below)
WOW..all in a span of about 20 minutes...Thank you God for you abundant love and grace ....sorry about all the grumbling...
